I always knew VW were considering the Dark Side when they engineered these things! Seriously, have any of you ever heard your engine? I mean, besides the noise of the fan and exhaust? With the engine idleing, lay your ear on the grille on the fender, you will hear all the lifters tapping in ecstacy and sheer joy, and you will feel the wind from the fan sucking air. I find it a quite interesting sound, as it enters through the fan. Dont know if this will work on a Notch, sorry! 74 Renpe Oyrer 73 Variant L ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org
