Doesn't the Z-bar end arm point to the rear on one side and to the front on the other, hence the name? If so, this comes into play more as the car settles lower. If both arms face the same direction then it is a sway bar and what you say is correct. I am pretty sure that it is the former, and I have never fi÷ò õt what it was supposed to do, except for support a little extra weight. >From a handling perspective that would seem to be just the opposite of what you would want to do.
