To be on the safe side, you should check your engine and transmission mounting bolts and nuts before you go on your trip. Otherwise your problem is either: 1. Bowden tube for clutch cable needs to be preloaded (has to have a bend in it). 2. Bad pressure plate. 3. Bad clutch disc. 4. Distorted flywheel surface.
