[T3] SIR show

Hey Volks,
First, my apologies to list members in the Northwest who wanted to meet at
the
SIR show. I went out with some buddies Thursday night with their promise of
"we'll have you home by 11:30pm". Well, let's just say 3 hours of sleep
just
wasn't enough é™سnt my normal 1/2 day on Friday. This is why I didn't
send
a message to the list trying to organize a meeting of fellow members.

On Sunday, Phillip, his son Harrison, and I drove my Jetta to the VW Show.
Thanks to my Saturday night activities I was a tad late (aspirin, gotta love
it!) and none of us knew exactly where SIR was located. To make matters
worse,
we didn't see one air-cooled ride traveling our way.

Well, we eventually got to the show and checked it all out. It was nice but
I
noticed my enthusiasm for the event was lessened by the fact that this was
my
second event I've attended without showing my baby. A little depressing.
Oh
yeah, all the Berg Cruisers were there too...sigh.

There were some nice cars, both air and water. There was a very nice stock
412
and stock Fox. Naturally, the representation of Type IIIs was small. ...
oops, we're having a reporting server problem here at work and I gotta go.
Phillip, you mind finishing this? Thanks!
