The FI is an excellent system. Don't assume that a conversion to carbs will be pain-free. Both systems have their learning curves, but the carbs, since they are not OE, have limited support. You cannot buy carbs that will just bolt on and be jetted correctly and will run flawlessly from the start. Most people consider the switch because they don't understand the FI. Once they switch to carbs they discover that they don't understand carbs. Remember: the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
