That was my understanding too; the bulgy tail-lights (not the flat ones), extra reflectors in chrome housing, chrome cover on number-plate light, chrome moustache, wrap-round front indicators (not the bullet ones) were just fitted to the S or L models (AFAIK). Our 1964 1500S had all those (plus some other stuff I've forgotten, no doubt). Dave.
