Pretty damn simple as mechanics go. You need an allen wrench, adjustable spanner if you're Continental and crecent wrench if you're not, hammer and drift to knock out the bearing race. Removing the bearing race is the most difficult part of this task. You need to feel with the drift where the edge of the race is and give it a few sharp raps with the hammer. Move the drift side to side as you work it out of the rotor hub. When putting it in, make sure you seat it into the hole all the way by listening to the ring of the rotor change as you rap it. When it's in all the way, the ring will be brighter. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Nathan Jacobsen '62 NB '69 SB M/T ICQ #38633286 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> > How渚 hard is it to change the front wheel bearings on a 68 Squareback? > > Thanks for any info. > > Greg > 68 Square > > ------------------------------------------------------------------- > Search old messages on the Web!
