On my old dead square someone had welded up an adapter that fit in the bumper and had round tube extensions for the super beetle tow bar. Bolted to the bumper, I recall... It was also welded to the shock mount, I think. Sturby peice of work- I kept cracking my shins on it, so I took it off. I have it if you want to pay shipping for it- its not that pretty- you might be better off finding a creative welder..... I do have a unoriginal tow hitch that replaces the bumper and has a ball on it for a T3. Got taken on that one - "I have a tow hitch for a T3, 50 bucks", says my friend. "Okay, here's $50!" says RJ happily. Next morning, its on my porch.
