I just use a pocket knife blade . Carefully place the blade between where the plastic horn button & metal horn ring meet & twist the blade.The button is pretty tough & you shouldn't have any trouble, unless there are DEEP cracks in the button. Then that could present a problem. Once the button starts to come off, work the blade around the button until it is off.
