Uhm, who are you talkin' to? I am never satisfied with the stock radios found in cars so I always buy my own to suit my tastes. I've always gone with Sony because they are easy to operate while not looking at them (good tactileability) and because of their rounded, smooth flowing surfaces. However, their new generation of CD players sorta, well...suck...cosmetically and in their displays (horses prancing across a blocky LCD screen, come on...) so I went with an Alpine and have been very pleasantly surprised. I think I'm beginning to justify paying the inflated name-price because the unit is so nice...in fact I may start buying Alpine if Sony doesn't get out of it's "cute" phase :) Toby Erkson air_cooled_nut@pobox.com <-- Please use this address for email '72 VW Squareback 1.6L bored and stroked to 2.0L, Berg five-speed '75 Porsche 914 1.8L, ORPCA member '95 VW Jetta GL 2.0L, boringly bone-stock Portland, Oregon, http://www.pobox.com/~toby_erkson/ -----Original Message----- Do you have an aftermarket radio?
