Well, we just had our first significant snowfall this weekend and it was a DOOZY. We got 10-15 inches with some drifts up to 3 feet. I guess this means that it's time for my annual warning to those of you who drive your type 3s in the winter: Be sure to clear the snow off (and keep clear) the engine cooling air intake louvers. If you leave these blocked with snow the engine may not get the necessary cooling and can be damaged. Yes, your engine needs cooling in the winter, too. This warning comes from the owner's manual that came with our cars.
