I was having trouble with my 64 notch stalling after it got warm. It would start and after just a little help would begin to idle just fine. The problem it that it would stall once it warmed up. I could restart it again no problem but it wouldn't stay running on its own, I would have to keep giving it some pedal. It's a 1500 with a single, solex 32, side-draft carb. I refer to this in past tense because this was a couple of months ago while it was still warm. It's been parked because I usually don't like to drive it during real cold weather or on snow and ice, but now I need to get it going. Right now it doesn't want to kick over at all and I suspect it's related to the idle problem I was having before. It has been a little chilly the last couple of days but the engine is turning just fine, it simply doesn't want to fire up. Any suggestions?
