Our '64 1500S Squareback came with just diagonal front belts (dealer fitted). They were a Swedish make with a massive clip that clamped onto a chrome loop on the tunnel. It must have been meant to be a diagonal because the clip had a tag on the back to fit it into the upper mounting when not in use. I thought all Type 3s came with 3-point mounts, but if so, why fit 2-point belts at all? Dave.
