It would have been nice to get ahold of the car before the repaint/"restoration". I can't stand those cheapo repaints. I'd rather have the scraggly original paint if it can't be done right. Speaking of the elusive red interior, I saw one for sale last June at Woodburn Show. Wow, it is an eyefull, red *everything*; seats, panels, carpet, dash pad, steering column and wheel, armrests. Don't know if it has sold by now, but check the archives for my email. It was low miles original untouched '66 fasty (white), like $4000. Found the email in my records: There was an immaculate low mileage '66 fast in the for sale area $4,000. It looked like the trunk(s) had never seen daylight before! The paint was as good as new, owned by little old lady...etc. It was white with a spectacular red interior. I mean everything was red; seats, panaling, carpet, armrests, dash, steering wheel, steering shaft, even the turn signal lever!
