If it's squareback rubber, the outers fit in the little channel around the edge, I used green soap solution for lubricant and cleaned well beforehand. The frame has to be taken apart to fit the inners, mine needed lots of soap and water before the channel was ready, used the same thing for lubing them. The outers had to have a little stretch before they would fit into the groove, but haven't had any retention problems since. If it's fastback rubber, someone else will have to step in, no experience with it.
