found a nice '69 fasty in a junkyard today. got myself a dashpad (hurray) in very nice shape from it. after i got it off, and looked underneath, it doesn't seem stock. almost homemade; you can kind of see where it's been shaped by a knife or something. but to look at from the top, it looks stock. the onlyrS¡; nce is the pinhead size holes to let the noise out of the speaker are filled. do you think i could drill them with a small drill bit without causing any damage, or will i be able to hear the music anyway? the car also had a nice looking towbar on it in good shape. the tow bit is chromed and says it's rated for 1080lbs. this is attached to a solid looking bar that runs along the inside of the bumper (and is invisible from the outside), then it has two legs that run parallel to the bumper mounting brackets and attaches to the car. is anyone interested in this? i have an idea that it would cost about $25, then shipping might be another $10 or $15. no guarantees it'll still be there, but let me know if you might be interested. sonny ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
