Hmm, Darksidness is more of a state of mind than being. Since you've altered your ride you can consider yourself one if you wish (really, it's the only honorable thing to do :) I wouldn't consider you a Dark Sider, however, I certainly don't consider your car bone-stock. To me bone-stock is just that, like it came from the dealer, pure and virginal with only VW/Bosch parts (well, and the necessary Brazilian stock part if no German item can be found). Volks, don't worry so much about what others may consider you. If you change some parts on your ride to keep it running and that's it, and you prefer a stock vehicle, you're stock. Minor changes or modifications generally won't brand you as a Dark Sider -- you're keeping your ride on the road and that's wha 德y. In my opinion, I would say a Dark Sider is an obvious ride, like my baby or Brian Fye's roadster, where perfectly good and working parts have been changed/modified (if it ain't broke, make it more powerful!), where the body/paint has been massaged, where handling and speed win over comfort and mileage. The car shouts, "Look at me!", even when your back is turned. The car is, for all intents and purposes, a German version of an American hot rod :) Remember, it's keeping our cars on the road the best way we can and in our own way -- who cares what side you're on, as long as you're on the road!
