RE: [T3] Trans. transplant

Sorry Jim, Seeing that we are on the other side of the world everything seem
to be the other way around.

What I meant was when the pedal was pressed down (Yes DISengaged). I checked
the oil level this week end and it is OK. The pedal free play is approx. 1/3
from the top (if I understand you correctly again, that is when the thrust
bearing starts to press on the pressure plate to DISengage the clutch,
yess??:-}.
One more thing I noticed this weekend while checking the oil, the tranny is
leaking oil out the right side (looking from the back of the car) drive
shaft where it comes out the tranny. I think that it could be that this
bearing as well as the oil seal is dead.

But it is still popping out of second gear on coasting.

It is pretty dark where I am standing (So does that make me a member of the
lost in the dark-ness-club?).

Please excuse the lack of technical terms, that thingy with all the words
and explanations in it has gone for walkabout :-o
