I realized yesterday that the wind noise I hear inside my Notch on the freeway is caused by a worn out vent wing window seal, not the u-shaped one but the one that goes up and down on the chrome post at the rear of the wing window. Damn thing only lasted 37 years! My parts book lists a seal for 61-65 and a different seal for 66-up but the WCM catalog says 1 seal for 62-74. Any opinions on this? Good/bad experiences with the WCM replacement seal? Better source for better quality than WCM like can I use a Bug seal from Wolfsburg West?
