hey my square does this same thing, used to do it alot, but not so much anymore, the wiring is such a mess in it that i cant figure it out for the life of me, but same concept exactly!! during the day cd player was fine, except on occasions the fuse ran hot which i had to keep an eye on, but at night with the lights on a simple tap of the brakes would cause my player to "short" (it would just turn off and back on) reaaaaaaaaal annoying!!! especially on bad road conditions when your pumping the pedal!! is this caused from u think ...... lack of power?? just the wrong spot to wire the deck?? just bad wiring job?? or possibly just possibly the brake light pedal relay??
