RE: [T3] Windy day driving -- caster shims


The Haynes manual suggests adding a thicker collar if all other methods
fail.  Should be in the front-end section.  You won't find anything about
this in the Bentley as this was only a problem with the pre-FI cars.

Because of the way our front torsion housing is attached we can't use shims
like the T1.  Basically, you would have to add some thin strips of rubber
between the front torsion housing and attaching collar.  I don't have my
Haynes shop manual so would someone please double-check for me?  I'm sure
Keith knows how thick the rubber should be to change X-number of degrees
caster (allowing for tightening squish as well ;).
