i've heard people mention that late model high backs can be used in earlier models, or that gti seats can be put in late models. does any of this apply to a '67. i'm thinking i'm out of luck here, becuase the rails are the round, plastic covered ones, with just one on either side. any "easy" mods to put in later seats? is my only option to go with something totally aftermarket with a new mounting system? i want headrests in case of accident to minimize neck injuries (although it wouldn't be as easy to put my arm around a date in the passenger's seat with highbacks, darn). late fasty sighting (although i slightly doubt it is anyone on the list) -beige '68 or '69 on the way to Barrio "El Sembrador" in Santiago, Chile. all bent up and beaten, but it looked to be a daily driver.
