Re: [T3]

Hey, my parents had a 1964 Panel van! Yessiree, it was a straight 1500N,
complete with rear seat, but with metal panels spot welded in place of the
windows. When they bought it in '69 (after their Citro‘n broke in half,
another story) they got he dVW dealer to put in wwindows in place of the metal
plates. Luckily, they took a photo of it before the window operation, and even
more luck, I still have this photo! Sadly, they GGAVE it away in '76 when both
rockers, and the battery tray was totally rusted out. I was in no position to
complain, as I was only 2 1/2 years old at that time.

Still, growing up in the "Beetle wagon" influenced both me and my two older
brothers, but not my younger sister, as she was born after the Variant era of
my parents. We can see that now, she doesnt like old VWs at all, unlike her
three brothers.

The panel can bee seen at: http://members.tripod.com/perlindgren/daddys.jpg
