I'd say anywhere from $2500 to 4000 depending on details. Take off 1000
if it needs substantial rechrome work. Add 1000 if it's got uncracked
dash pads.

The T34 Registry ads show about 40 for sale right now. If you or any
other member of this list is interested in owning a 34, I strongly
recommend joining the Registry first and getting into the network. Lots
of good deals available. Restoring on of these is *not* like restoring
any other VW short of a Heb or Rometsch; it's not for the faint of
heart. There are many good restored and original cars looking for homes.
I love my car now, but once I learned what's available I regretted
buying the first one I ran across.
