Is the fuel filter new as well? Make sure the fuel lines are in good condition because if they were swollen internally that can restrict the fuel to the carbs. I know my carbs take 7lbs. of fuel pressure. Where is the pump located? I know Gene Berg talked about putting one up front AND one in the rear of the car to help push the fluid along, maybe this is what's needed for these low pressure pumps to push the distance (I dunno?).
