What my brother did on his superbug was, he made the cable linkage form bicycle
brake cables, and soldered on ends that fit on the balls of the stock Solex ball
joint linkage system. He ran the bowden tubes through the heater outlets of the
fan housing, but how you should do this on a 3, I dont know. The reason he did
the cable setup in the first place, was that he couldnt get a linkage setup that
fit the bug engine. He had no luck trying to modify the stock linkage either.
Later, I have seen pics of Kadron kits, that used a curved link rod under the bug
alternator, either wise a stock type 3 setup. I cant remember all the details of
my brothers system, it is 8 years since he made this, and the system is long
gone. (the carbs sits in my Square)
