[T3] somethings got to give

My '70 (FI) sqrbck has been running great for the past few weeks.  
This past Saturday morning it wouldn't start.  I had the ignition 
coil replaced (long overdue), a new condenser/distributor cap/and 
points, and adjusted the throttle position switch.  When I got it 
back from the shop it seemed to rƒÒi9until i was halfway home and 
the idle began to go up and down again.  AAAAAAAHHHHHH!  I had this 
problem a few weeks ago, but it just went away.  I have check the 
pressure sensor to see if it was full of oil, and check all hoses for 
leaks, but nothing showed up.  I depsperately need some help.

  Also, my sqrck is not running at top speed.  what can I do to get 
it to run at it's peak performance.  The original owners manual that 
i got from the PO says that the max cruising speed is 84 mph.  Mine 
max cruise is at about 65, any higher and it over heats and the idle 
thingy (mentioned above) acts up really bad.

      throw any advice my way.  I know that i'm real close to getting 
this car running great so i can start cosmetic side of the resto.
