Some possible problems with sitting for that long are: FI pump seals shrinking (per previous t3 list messages) Gummed up fuel lines/injectors (per previous t3 list messages) Can't think of much else. The first thing to do is replace all fuel lines IMMEDIATELY!!!! I can't stress this enough. I had a line burst while driving down the road. It's amazing how much fuel can come out of a small crack when its under 30psi. Fortunately no one tossed a cig out the window thank goodness. As for the high idle, that is most likely an airleak somewhere in the system. What year is the 412? If it has a D-Jetronic FI system, I am in the process of putting up a web version of a D-jet. troubleshooting guide (www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Shop/4123). It's not finished and in very rough shape, but it should give you a general idea as to what can be looked at for idle problems. Jay Decker '71 411 > ---------- > From: Luis A.
