I forgot to mention that, probably because I was responding to a perceived
concern about headroom. But yes, the oil pan hangs way down, and makes it a
bad choice of engine even for the bus, which has more legroom, if you plan to
drive on dirt roads ever. I think the exhaust rides quite low too.

Well, I wasn't saying I'd do this swap. I certainly wouldn't; but that wasn't
the point I was addressing. : - )
