FW: [T3] auto to manual, etc.(long)

Y7™~ttle more is involved that just swapping transmissions. If you want
something like factory you would basically need to swap pans. Or figure out
a way to weld in the Bowden tube for the clutch cable(virtually impossible).
Apparently some of the early autos came with the tube but later ones did
not.

If you don't mind fabrication some stuff then it shouldn't be too
hard. You will need to install some type of hydraulic clutch and plumb it.
You would need the pedal cluster minus the clutch pedal. The drive shafts
are different lengths so you will need those. If you have ever done any
conversion projects this shouldn't be too hard?

You could always buy a fiberglass front end and mount it up front. They
only come in early body style from what I have seen though. Then you could
get rear fenders from an early say 69 and install them. You would then have
a 73 that looks like a 69. We won't get in to which front end looks better
now will we?

Thank You,
