[T3] tranny removal tips

Hello All,

   Will be removing my swing axle tranny ('67 Square) this weekend.  I
have Bentley and couple other manuals.  Any tips any one has that I
should be aware of not in the manuals?

Once the tranny is out, how do I keep the back end supported?

Also,  while the engine and tranny are out, are there some things I
should do or replace?  My back end has been sagging, so I am thinking of
adjusting the torsion bars.  Any helpful hints?
