To the list,
I can't believe that you would give someone a hard time for expressing
his wishes for a happy holiday!  So what if you don't agree - you don't
have to.  That's the beauty part of being alive - you are your own boss
and can do what you like.  If you don't like what someone says, reply to
the person.    No need to berate someone's religious preference and their
desire to express it and well-wish others.
You can just nod, shake your head and keep going.
