The oil is pumped out through the hollow pushrods and through the drilled rocker arms to the rocker shaft. Some of it goes on through the next rocker arm drilling to the end of the valve. All of it eventually drips to the bottom of the rocker chamber where it flows via gravity back to the sump in the case by way of the push rod tubes.
