Dash pad trick is the grab-handle has to come off, as well as the instrument connections (remove them for less weight anyway), speedo cable, and small screws under bright-work trim strip and by screen. If you have the screen out, it won't be so nerve wracking pulling it that way as easing it past the screen pillars inside. With the right tool, CVs in my experience are no problem, just messy. Dave.
