27.5 mpg (US) = 34 mpg (Imp).  That's just what my stock
(non-rebushed or rebuilt) twin carb '71 does at 60 - 70 mph with 4
adults and a full load of camping gear.  I like the better response
of the FI on my Fastback, and the shear economy and sound of the
twin Solexes on the Squareback.

As far as 27.5 mpg only applying to rebuilt and rebushed carbs, are
you comparing these with FI that has original injectors dribbling
fuel everywhere?
