The heavy freight stations are usually only the larger cities where there are sufficient frieght people to actually get the freight off of the train. I live in Huntington WV and the nearest stations to me were Cincy, Ronoake VA, Pittsburg and Washington DC. While this would save me money in the long run I would have to make one of Chris's 1000 mile trips to get my parts. BTW the same train that would have had my parts on it would have went right through my home town on it's way to Ronoake VA, but they wouldn't let me meet the train and pick it up myself.
