Re: Beading

Uh, well, I did when I painted my SqBk in my garage about 5 or 6
years ago. And this morning I gave it a good close look...and there
is no problem at all with chipping, breaking, or whatever on the
beading (of course, all the paint has fallen off the metal body!).

Most likely this happy occurrence is due to the wholesomeness of the
  air and sunshine in Utah...

Also, I remember that I made my beading from Type 1 beading, using
the old T3 beading as a pattern to cut the T1 stuff. Worked pretty
  well.

The time for a re-paint is fast approaching. Upon that occasion I
will have no hesitation to paint over the beading again.

But what do you expect from someone who loves carburetors? My shame
  only continues to grow....
