Are we talking about the normal "VW Variant" badge on the tailgate
(see www.hallvw.clara.net/type3.htm )?  I should be able to find
those (have a few, but maybe some are better than others).  There
are differences early and late; late are easier to get over here,
but most don't say L or LE at the end as they were rarely imported
(UK).
