Re: [T3] Variant Script and cars for sale

Growing up in LA, where I was the victim of numerous Midnight Auto Parts
patrons (the San Fernando Valley's unlimited supply of car parts! Just pray
is ain't yours!) I sadly learned to keep the cool stuff out of reach of the
cockroaches. I found a VARIANT tag on a totaled square at a pick-your-part
in the early 80s, but couldn't bring myself to place it on the outside of
my car (essentially, to give it away!) so I mounted it on my Scat center
console, where I know I will be able to appreciate it for a long time... :)

My advise is that we should all write to some aftermarket VW parts house
and talk them into reproducing the tags and selling them for $15 a pop.
Other than that, I have no idea where to find one, and *never* run accross
them these days! Anyone else have any leads?
