That's mighty reassuring to know someone who has actually done it
with no problems.  You can pick up the wrong impression of a job
from people who haven't done it, for sure.  I guess magazines who
wrote about changing the rubber parts have to err on the side of
caution in case they recommend something that then goes wrong.  Some
of the classics they cover could easily have still had the older
rubber seals.
