Hello, I should start off by saying I don't know anything about engines, so don't think me stupid if this is impossible, but I need to convert my 66 squareback to 12 volt but don't want to Pay alot of money or waste a lot of time. So I was wondering if there was a way to leave everything 6 volt, but put an alternator on connected to a 12 volt battery just to run my stereo. Well please tell me what you think.
