In our search for a late model front clip to fix Katie's squareback, we ran across a 64-ish notchback for sale. It's pretty rust free, has front fenders, a hood, a decklid, and the doors are there but not in great shape. The downside is it's been hit in the front and would need the clip replaced about mid-gastank forward. (We know where you can probably get the front clip for cheap) There's no motor, interior, dash, glass, gauges, rubber, or rear fenders, and around the engine compartment has been hacked up to fit 48 mm carbs, but it does have the 5 lug rear drums and a tranny. It has 4 lug drums up front, but the original 5 lug are inside the car. The roof and the rear vents (c-pillar) are perfect and rust free. The guy has bumpers you could probably get too, and might even be able to help you out with a motor. It would take a lot of work to get this back on the road, but for someone who wants a project or maybe even a race car, $200 seems like a good price. It's located in the Los Angeles area. If you want some idea as to the extent of the front end damage, take a look at our web page...it's maybe a little worse than the damage to the squareback simply because the damage on the notch is in the center of the car and not off to one side. Katie's Squareback Situation The car rolls and could maybe be towed with a tow bar, but a dolly or flatbed would be best. If you're interested in it, email us and we can hook you up with the details. Matt and Katie ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
