I am figuring that oil would go from the pump to an external filter, probably to an external oil cooler, then *back* into the engine/bearings via this adapter. What type of engine would one do this to i.e. big bore/stroker, racing only, or from a one-eyed one-armed purple-people-eater mechanic? Thoughts?
