What size tube runs from the filler neck to the connection inside the trunk? 3/4"? Running from inside the front fender is a gasket thats seriously dried out. Seems to be the only way the overflow tube from the neck was hooked up (no sign of a clamp). What's the right way to re-connect this so I dont get gas in my front fender when I turn on a full tank AND so I dont get dirt in my filler neck? I need specifics here folks, and dont tell me I have to hunt for some NLA part. I need a pragmatic solution. Also will someone tell me what kind of hose, size and all, to use to replace my metal emissions lines? Despite what everyone has said, here n NYC, they're not readily available at any auto parts stores, all of which are s**t around here. They seem to be places to buy chamois cloth, air fresheners, armorall, stickers and all the wrong parts for your hack-patch-up-fix on your car and that's about it. So I need specifics so I can get someone to order me the stuff I need. Again: size please. And while we're at it. For we dual Weber carb people (34 ICT) whats the proper fuel line size? 8 mm? 5/16"? Also, what's the right size for the air-cooling exhaust-to- heaterbox ducting? 2-1/4"? As you can see, this weekend's job was going to be hoses. Still will be if I can get some anwers. Bentley is reliably mute on these issues. -Mike 72 Sqbk, 1600, dual Weber 34 ICT carbs, manual transmission, combi centrif/vac advance distributor.
