Well, I am crazy in love with AM! Sure, up until this summer I had *no*
radio... Portland isn't that big a city, there must be similar stations in other
towns? There is a collage station with lots of different stuff (including amusing
shows DJ'd by teenagers), there is "sunny 1520" (oldies Sinatra, big band, early
rock), and then there is a soul station (nothing like that on FM).
Regarding the brackets: The early cars (to late 60's) had black textured with
chrome lip metal type. Later, they were plastic (maybe actual VW part?) with dash
texture, where the radio just snapped in.
