I redid the fuel lines in the front end of our '71 Fasty using the inexpensive 1/4" line from the local shop. That translates to roughly 6.25 mm, and yes, it was a real bugger to get the lines onto the metal pipes. The lines stretch enough to get on there, but a bit of lubrication would have helped a lot. Have no idea what you would use for that though, since grease will hurt the lines. Anyways, I doubt they'll leak, since they're on there really tight. I don't know if I want to attempt the engine lines with that hose though.
