Well Gang, I fired up the Fastback this morning for the first time in 3 weeks, and she did exactly what I said in my first note: 1st try nada, 2nd try sputter, 3rd try started. Didn't see some of the starting info some T-3ers provided in response to my first note until this morning after I started her up, so I will try to turn the ignition on and off a few times to build up pressure next time as some of you suggested. HOWEVER, I now need to add a new symptom that may further help define the cause. Not being too mechanically inclined, I hope this may trigger something in the master minds that may pinpoint the problem. After the car fired up this morning, I got out of the car to move my daily driver out of the way to get the T3 out of the garage and noticed a small wet spot under the car near the right rear wheel. In investigating, it turned out to be gas. Can this be related to the cold start problem? Perhaps a fuel injector is leaking? After pulling the T3 out of the garage and into the driveway, the leaking stopped. There was no leakage while the car was running, and I have not seen any gas spots in the driveway or here at work in the parking lot. What could have caused gas to leak during startup? And does this define my cold start problem? Thanx Again for any info - Still haven't heard from any other NJ T-3ers, Guess I am solo?
