I have had good luck with polyurethane enamels adhering to beading and being flexible enough to stand up to re-installation without cracking. The hard part is fitting it afterwards if you are trying to re-use old beading since the old beading has always shrunk and will not want to go back where it came from. New beading should not be any problem, but you will probably need to carefully clean any mold release compound off the new beading before you paint to assure adhesion.
