Re: [T3] stupid/beading


Hello John,
   I would recommend just putting the black unpained beading in there.
My red with flames Fastback has black in there and it looks great! 
Also, I'm just now reinstalling the fenders on my newly painted bright
blue (maxi-blue) bug with black beading and the contrast looks great!
It breaks up the color a little bit. I've always thought that painted
beading looks like a 99.99 Earl Shibe job that they didn't take the
time to remove it, or mask it, and just painted right over it.

I would imagine that if you painted it prior to installing, you'd 
never get it back on without some of it chipping off before you had
finished. Good luck.
