I recently flushed and bled my brake system. Immediately after I did this I test drove it and the pedal felt normal: firm and brake action was smooth and even. The next day, I had my old problem wherby the car would dive to the left when the pedal was dpressed. The difference this time is that the car now dives in the opposite direction when the pedal is released. This caught me by suprise and I got several "single finger salutes" from the drivers in the cars in the lane next to me. I noticed a very tiny leak from the the right rear brake hose. I also noticed that if I apply the brake pedal pressure slowly and release it slowly, the car does not dive to one side or the other. The pedal still feels firm but less so than when I first bled it. I realize that I need to replace the right rear brake hose, but would that tiny leak cause such a change in braking? From the recent postings, I'm going to have a hard time finding this hose. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
